One of the first things I noticed about Andy, after his friendliness and energy, were his stylin’ sneakers. In my mind, Andy to Adidas are like Steve Jobs to acid wash jeans, or John Wayne to a cowboy hat. And now, I attribute those running shoes to SkuVault’s exciting accomplishment of earning Louisville’s Fast Fifty.
This prestigious award is given to independent companies considered (after careful calculation by Louisville Business First) to be among the fifty fastest growing companies in the area. Among the requirements to be considered for this award:
- Privately held and independent
- For-profit
- Be willing to release a three-year sales history of operations
- Have an average of $1 million (or more) in revenue for the past three fiscal years
- Be headquartered in one of the qualifying counties
So, on Thursday, October 27, 2016, SkuVault was named the second fastest growing company in the greater Louisville area and number one in our revenue category. According to the numbers, we’ve grown a whopping 470.4%. Wow.
Since its humble start in a warehouse server room 2011, SkuVault has grown exponentially to the thirty-some-odd employees a spacious 3,000 square feet. The entire company is thrilled to be considered among the entrepreneurial elite associated with an award brandishing such clout.
Fortunately, Andy doesn’t have any plans to retire his running shoes anytime soon. We’re focused on innovation, and only expecting to get faster and bigger in the years to come. If you ask me, I think we have our eyes set on first place, so look out Louisville-- we’ve got our running shoes on, and we’re comin’ for ya.
