sema_show_cars.jpgOur Director of Business Development, Danny Shaw, and Operations Consultant, Greg Farmer, attended the The Sema Show in Las Vegas November 1-4. The Sema Show is the biggest automotive specialty products show in the world, bringing the biggest and brightest industry leaders and products together. Hosted in the Las Vegas Convention Center, The Sema Show attracts a staggering 100,000 industry leaders from around the world providing profit and educational opportunities for the automotive, truck and SUV, powersports and RV markets.

We saw this conference as an opportunity to meet and greet current and potential clients at every stage in retail. The decadent shiny cars were nice to look at too. Farmer found the show to be booming with energy.

Sema was exciting because of the passion for the automotive industry that the attendees had,” he said. “On display, was everything from exotic cars, to 3D printers making auto parts. The vendors were also exciting to talk to as they were obviously thrilled about the possibilities of business opportunities.”

Although SkuVault typically caters to eCommerce merchants, we found a few fans at Sema that couldn’t help but give us praise. Farmer recalls a customer “flying by” the booth, exclaiming, “I love you guys! Your kits and bundles feature saved my business.” Not too shabby!

In addition to the car and products showcase, Sema also hosts educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, and networking opportunities. Farmer noted the vast space of the venue to accommodate activities such as these, and the 160,000+ people going in and out throughout the four days.

Although it was our first time exhibiting at The Sema Show, we can definitely say we will be back next year. Las Vegas was the perfect location for limitless possibilities!
